What does that mean?
The miners are able to mine both SHA-256 coins and also Scrypt coins.
They are capable of operating in 3 modes:
- SHA-256 only mode
- Scrypt only mode
- SHA-256 + Scrypt combo mode
However, the outstanding bit about these miners is that they also are capable of mining Scrypt coins, something that no other ASIC miner has been able to do up till now!
In Scrypt only mode, a single LA5U will hash at 360kH/s @ 8W!
A single set of miners consisting of 10 LA5U will hash at a combined rate of 3.6mH/s while only drawing 80W of power!
